Came back recently to enjoy another great meal at Seoul Garden. Without fail, I always order the Jing Gee Skhan (shabu) which is their signature menu item. Though the sweet servers will help put the veggies and meet into the broth the first time, we got to dip at our pace afterwards. When all the veggies and meat are in the broth, the udon noodles are next. After the noodles, come the porridge, which I grow even fonder of as I get older. It's such a simple 5 ingredient dish: leftover broth, rice, egg, geem (dried seaweed laver), and sesame oil but it's such a warm and nostalgic way to finish the meal. Such an underrated restaurant, I still love coming here even after all these years!

Wanted hotpot/shabu but didn't want AYCE and this place serves fixed portions. First time having Korean style hotpot, there is only one broth which was light and tasty, with a strong perilla leaf flavor. Tried the American Wagyu and Brisket plates, the wagyu was noticeably more tender than the brisket and was therefore more enjoyable to eat. I also have never been to a place where the shabu vegetables and sliced thinly, and I honestly enjoyed it in this style. After shabu, they make an udon soup for you and then finish off with a congee porridge. It was a fun experience and the servers were so kind. Was able to easily find street parking for free on a weekend evening and the place is nicely lit inside.

This place is very homey and a must go, especially when it's raining outside. It's just hit the spot. I never try to barbecue menus but their shabu shabu menu is just the best in my opinion. it comes with a lot of options of protein and it comes with Banchan and veggies and at the end of the meal you will enjoy udon and porridge using your shabu shabu broth. The auntie who works there are nice too and they recommend what portion is good for how many people. Parking is valet in the back.

Husband and I love coming here regularly. We always get the chuck steak shabu shabu combo. They make you udon soup and porridge (jook) at the end with the remaining broth. Very delicious and filling - perfect amount of food for us. They recently added sushi to their menu! The rainbow roll was really fresh. The fish portions were big too. Good spot for groups/families. Always friendly and attentive service. Parking is valet $3
